What would you like to see our Network do?

Well, we are busy creating a survey that we will send out to all in our mailing list.  

Contact Network@DrexelHellenicAlumni.org if you want to be put into the loop.

Ideas include:

• Happy Hour on South Street
• Museum Trip
• Dinner with Drexel Hellenic Student Association

It's project time everyone!  We know it's a very busy time of the year, but we need your small contribution!   Let's work as a team to collect as many toys as possible to donate on behalf of our new Drexel Hellenic Alumni Network.

For those of you not in Philadelphia, that is not a problem at all, perhaps you can send something via snail mail or encourage others in the Philadelphia area to donate.

The Drexel University Office of Government and Community Relations has begun its 16th Annual Holiday Toy Drive.  If you would like to donate any new, unwrapped toys (no toy weapons please), we will be collecting donations at all alumni events prior to December 12.

Our 2 options for donating are:

1. Weekend drop off at the DAC (Daskalakis Athletic Center)
   • Carissa Fafalios (cxfafa at gmail.com) will be at the DAC Recreation Center Lobby to collect your donations on December 1, 2, and 8, 9 from 1pm to 3pm.  If any members would like to volunteer to collect donations or arrange alternate drop off, please e-mail Carissa at cxfafa at gmail.com
2. Weekday drop off at the Alumni Office in the Peck Alumni Center
   • Joanne Hunt (jh882 at drexel.edu) of the Drexel Alumni Office will be happy to receive the donated toy(s) and will connect with you to make sure it is retrieved  properly before the drive ends.  Make sure you write on your toy a note that specifies that it is from the Drexel Hellenic Alumni Network (DHAN).

Come together with your fellow emerging and seasoned professionals for an evening of networking at this Philadelphia hot spot! We would like to mention that there will be an influx of Hellenes in the Philadelphia area because the National Hellenic Student Association of America Fall Convention will be held in Philadelphia this weekend November 9 – 11.  See you Friday!
